Monthly Summary: June 2014

A narrow daily temperature range grouped about an average mean temperature. Very wet month, with 7.1 inches of rain. The St Mary’s school roof collapsed from the load of accumulated water.

These seven inches correspond to 118 tons of extra weight on the 100 by 70 foot roof, the equivalent of two Brachiosaurs.

The UMM wind vane stopped reporting at the beginning of the month. Repairs are under way.

All data refer to the time since June 7, 2007, as measured by the UMM weather station. Averages refer to data taken by the Morris Co-op and the USDA Soils Lab.
